The Bothan – The Scottish Highlands, Scotland
The Bothan is a cosy and beautifully designed self-catered bolt hole.
Found in one of the outbuildings of guesthouse Lundies House, it is described as a ‘modern version of a butler’s home on an estate’ and is perfectly suited to a family or a small group. The Bothan is split over two floors with two bedrooms on the first floor and on the lower floor you will find a well-equipped kitchen, the bathroom, the dining area and the living room. The Bothan has a Scandi-Scot vibe with use of natural materials such as concrete terrazzo floor, wood cladded walls and brass fossettes. It feels homely yet contemporary. We love the cosy courtyard with open fire outside.
