COMO Alpina Dolomites – Dolomites, Italy
The Dolomite scenery is without doubt truly spectacular – the jutting peaks that turn pink at dusk never stop drawing your eye. The COMO Alpina Dolomites, with its glass fronted, modernist architecture, makes the most of the view, from its almost circular location on the Alpe di Suisi, Europe’s largest high-altitude plateau. Blending in with its natural surroundings, it’s built from local stone and wood in three parts with the ski slopes in between.
One is around an original 18th century stuben and another is reached by an underground passage. Inside, linear design and custom-made furniture create sophisticated interiors. And as well as all the five-star luxuries and typical Tyrolean gastronomy, you can be sure of a warm welcome from this family run hotel.

It’s hard to imagine an Italian hotel where children aren’t welcome! At the COMO Alpina Dolomites, the facilities for children are fabulous.
