The nights are drawing in, and winter is looming fast. Time to top up on some Vitamin D and treat yourselves to a couples only trip. November is the time for exotic long haul destinations and all those places that have been on your bucket list for ever. Or maybe it’s time to create a new bucket list – here are some ideas.

Bali

November falls between the dry and the wet season, bringing warm days with only the occasional, short-lived shower. And best of all, it’s one of the quietest times on the island. Head for Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple – one of the main Hindu sites in Bali, cycle along the edges of paddy fields, wander through Ubud art market and enjoy delicious street food. The sacred art of shadow puppetry is celebrated on the 25th with Tumpek Wayang.
