The 2 night itinerary

For those travellers that love an adventure away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this two-night adventure in Sweden’s world-famous landscape of rugged cliff faces, secret inlets, and fascinating wildlife, will not disappoint.

Day 1

• Starting off with a fishing expedition, led by the skilled Lake & Sea guides, make sure you pay attention because on this trip you eat what you catch. You’ll travel to secluded inlets to ensure you can hook the best fish around, and if you’re lucky you’ll have eagles and seals to keep you company.
• Once you’ve caught dinner, it’s time to head back to your own secluded island and set up camp under the stars. With the wilderness chef cooking up a three-course meal from locally sourced ingredients and your “catch of the day”, take a moment to relax by the campfire whilst taking in the sunset and skies.

Day 2

• Day two starts with an al fresco breakfast at camp before heading out for a day of kayaking with the experts, in some of Stockholm’s best waterways. You’ll stop off for lunch on dry land before paddling back to the island stopping off on route to enjoy the much-loved Swedish pastime of drinking coffee.
• Next, you’ll travel to the Hotel Furusund for idyllic sea views and comfort, in the style that only the Scandinavians know how to do. Make the most of the spa for a relaxing dip before dinner, a 3 course fusion of Swedish classics and modern cuisine, in the hotel restaurant. Retire to the warmth of the bar for a nightcap and an early night.

Day 3

• Start the final day with a buffet breakfast in the orangery before heading out into historical Furusund. Explore the island by foot, discover local flora and fauna, spot sail boats, take in the fresh air and stretch your legs.
• Head back to the inn for the final time for a leisurely lunch before the journey back to the more cosmopolitan climes of central Stockholm.
