A CHRISTMAS YOU WILL NEVER FORGET
What better way to celebrate Christmas than a visit to the workshop of the main man himself, the perfect getaway to enchant children young or old. But it’s not just a meeting with Father Christmas that will enchant you – husky sledding through birch forests; snowmobiling over frozen lakes; getting up close and personal with reindeer, not to mention a chance to see the spectacular Aurora Borealis – Finnish Lapland is the land that dreams are made of.

If you can take the time, a long haul adventure at Christmas can’t be beaten. It’s an opportunity to head off the beaten track and explore far flung places. If you’re dreaming of a Safari, Tanzania is perfect for a Christmas game drive with the migration of wildebeest and zebra in the southern Serengeti. Or make the most of the good weather in Kenya with a safari and beach combo – there really is no better time to visit the Kenyan Coast and the Lamu archipelago.
Swap your boots and scarves for a pair of flip flops and some factor 50. Spending Christmas Day on the beach needs to be done at least once in your life. There are almost limitless places for winter sun – from a boat in the BVIs to five star luxury in Zanzibar, from the magical Middle East to over water chic in the Maldives. And no need to worry, Father Christmas visits here too!
May your Christmas be white, your wine glass be filled, and may someone else do all the cooking.
