SRI LANKA This friendly country is steeped in history with landmarks such as the sacred city of Anuradhapura, the golden temple of Dambulla, the iconic rock of Sigiriya and the colonial grandeur of Galle. MEXICO Home to some of history’s great civilisations. Archaeological sites, temples, tombs and pyramids are spread across the land. There’s also festivals throughout the year, celebrating independence, ancient relatives, and all manner of saints.

 

JAMAICA Rich in traditions and rituals, this ethnically diverse island is the birthplace of reggae, and the Rastafari religion. Jamaica has had tremendous influence around the world, whilst the laid back nature of the islanders is renowned and infectious.

 

DUBAI With Islamic and nomadic Bedouin traditions, Dubai has embraced cultures from further afield, with warm hospitality at its heart. Amongst the modern exterior are Mosques, temples and churches and during Ramadan there’s a festival-like atmosphere as darkness falls and the fast is broken.
