Four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Venetian and Ottoman fortresses, stunning national parks inhabited by wolves and bears, mountains, lakes and food that’s a delicious blend of Mediterranean and Balkan.
The country has a rich and interesting cultural history, with a two-millennia-old necropolis in Budva, the oldest city in the Adriatic, remains of Turkish hammams, through to Romanesque cathedrals. And wherever you go, you’re guaranteed a very warm welcome.
