The gateway from Central to South America, Panama is on the isthmus between the two, with the Caribbean to the north and the Pacific to the south. It is one of the few countries in the world where you can see the sun rise over one ocean, and set over another.
For a small country, with a stunning coastline on both sides, rain and cloud forests within, a strong indigenous culture, a rich history and a pulsating capital, it certainly has its fair share of treasures.
