Beaverbrook Town House – London, England
The team that created the eminently stylish Beaverbrook in the Surrey Hills, now bring their creative flair and flawless hospitality to Chelsea. Spanning two meticulously renovated Georgian townhouses, this boutique gem evokes the glamorous twenties and thirties and London’s rich theatrical history. It is named after the press baron and politician, Lord Beaverbrook, famous for his ostentatious lifestyle and lavish parties attended by statesmen, literary greats and Hollywood stars, and provides an extravagant bolt hole in the capital.
Vibrantly decorated and brimming with unique artwork, it is atmospheric and whimsical. And with its inimitable location, it makes the perfect London retreat.

food
Adorned with Japanese art by Hokusai and Hiroshige, and images of that most recognisable of volcanoes, the Fuji Grill serves beautifully presented and exceptional sushi, sashimi and nigiri, together with mouthwatering wagyu. Don’t miss the Omakase Experience – with 12 or 20 courses of modern Japanese specialties. We love the atmosphere of Sir Frank’s Bar (named after Lord Beaverbrook’s creative director and curator of his unique art collection). Intimate, and with an inviting ambience, it has a very tempting cocktail menu. The a la carte breakfasts are equally impressive and will set you up for whatever the day holds.
activities
Whether you’re here for a night, a mid week break or a long weekend, you’re within easy reach of most London attractions. Some of the capital’s best shopping is within walking distance – Harvey Nichols is just at the end of the road, and Harrods a couple of minutes further. Guests here also have access to exclusive private shopping experiences. Indeed, the host team are on hand to organise an itinerary for you, be it a West End show, dinner reservations or a guided tour.
Beaverbrook Town House has a key to Cadogan Gardens where you can use the tennis courts, or a personal training session, and it partners with KXU close by for exclusive fitness classes. Alternatively, let host team prepare a picnic for you with a bento box and champagne on the lawns. And if you need any more relaxation, you can have massages and beauty treatments in your room. If you’re after pure indulgence – look no further.
