Le Yule – Val d’Isère, France
Without doubt, Le Yule has one of the best locations in Val d’Isère – right at the foot of the Bellevarde Olympic and Solaise slopes, with the entire Espace Killy at your ski tips. An artful blend of contemporary Scandinavian style architecture and décor, it’s pure mountain chic inside and out. Bold colours and quirky design features give it character and its enormous and very inviting south facing terrace, most certainly give it the edge when it comes to lunch.
Exceptionally good food (of course), beautifully furnished room and suites, and some second to none mountain views, all make Le Yule one of our favourite places in Val d’Isère. Guests also receive the most amazing welcome, and you’ll be on first name terms before your week is up.

Compact and bijou, Le Yule has just forty one rooms and suites, with most having balconies overlooking the village or the mountains. We really love the suites here – they’re like little private mountain chalets.
food
Breakfasts are huge at Le Yule – they definitely set you up for the morning. And with its south facing terrace at the foot of the slopes, Le Solstice is naturally a very buzzy spot for lunch. We love the relaxed atmosphere, and of course, the delicious brasserie style menu. In the evenings, the restaurant serves gastronomic French food, all served by an exceptionally friendly team. Remember to leave some room for pudding!
activities
There’s a wonderful choice of treatments and therapies at the Nuxe Spa at Le Yule, and there’s even an osteopath. The pool has views out over the resort and can be used by adults and children. There’s also a sauna, hammam and gym, all just for grown ups. Leave your boots and skis in the ski room to make sure you have warm boots ready and waiting each morning.
And if you’re not happy with your helmet hair at the end of the day, there’s a hairdresser! Le Yule also has a shuttle service if you fancy exploring the village a little further.
There are plenty of activities for both skiers and non-skiers on offer including; Skiing, Snowboarding, Ski Touring, Dog Sledding, Snow Shoeing, Snow Cat Driving, Snowmobile Driving, Sledging, Yoga, Pilates, Walking, Ice Climbing, Paragliding, Fat Biking, Horse Riding, Visit Aquasportif, Swimming or Spa, Hot Air Balloon Riding, and Helicopter Rides.
family
With ski school and the nursery slopes just a few metres from Le Yule, it doesn’t get much better for families. Interconnecting rooms, kids’ menus, après ski activities, a games room, babysitting and even family Spa treatments are just a few more reasons to stay here.
