Each and every one of the vast suites has a terrace or balcony looking out over the beach and ocean. Styled by one of the island’s most celebrated designers, no luxury is spared. Polished wood floors, one-off works of art, and spacious living areas and enormous bathrooms, they are chic havens. The One Bedrooms Suites can sleep up to three, whilst the Two Bedroom Suites feature a master and a twin bedroom, sleeping up to five.
Set apart from the main hotel is The Club – a collection of private villas (from one to three bedrooms) with private pools and walled garden, and complete with butler. These make romantic bolt holes or the perfect family base. The Beach House opens out onto the sand and can accommodate up to seven – a truly special place for a celebration.

The hotel’s culinary reputation is legendary. Authentic Indonesian and Southeast Asian dishes with a French twist, eaten looking out over the ocean is hard to forget. The puddings in The Restaurant are also irresistible. For light lunches and snacks, the Pool Bar is the place to head for, then slip into evening at the Ocean Bar with some live music. Guests also have a wide choice of private dining, from in-suite to a romantic beachfront table.
