Wymara Resort & Villas – Turks and Caicos
Having the words luxury and Caribbean in the same sentence always bodes well. And Wymara Resort doesn’t fall short. And just to top that, it’s set on one of the world’s best beaches – so powdery white sand and azure waters come as standard. It’s a sleek, contemporary resort, with white muslin draped cabanas around the pool and a team of highly professional staff ensuring you have everything you need. And more.
It’s the perfect resort for flying and flopping, and if you’re after seclusion, then head for one of the villas just a few minutes away on the beach on the other side of the tiny island. Spend lazy days by the water’s edge or at the private beach club, or explore the pristine reef, just a short swim away.

Minimalist in design, and decorated in soothing creams and earthy tones, the studios, suites and villas are sophisticated and exceptionally spacious. The Studios are a perfect couple hideaway, either in the tropical gardens, by the pool, or beachfront. Complete with a living area and a kitchenette, the larger Studios can sleep three or four adults, and are just a stone’s throw from the beach.
For total luxe, the One, Two and Three Bedroom Suites are more like apartments, each with dreamy views of white sand and turquoise seas. Or luxuriate in one of the Penthouse Studios or Suites, looking right over Grace Bay. They have honeymoon written all over them. On the other side of the island – just a few minutes away – are the beachfront Wymara Villas – each with their own pool, 24 hour concierge service and private access to the Sunset Cove Beach Club. They range from one to four and five bedrooms, offering perfect family space.
food
Under the watchful eye of executive chef and culinary director Andrew Mirosch, dining here is a delicious mix of local and international flavours. People come far and wide to dine at Indigo, such is its reputation. Its glamorous setting spills out onto a terrace, with its menu celebrating local and sustainable ingredients, and Caribbean traditions.
The very relaxed Blue Water Bistro stretches between the pool and the beach, offering fresh seafood and local specialties – head here on a Monday evening for a BBQ, or on Thursday for the exceptional seafood extravaganza.
activities
The Turks and Caicos are one of the Caribbean’s most stunning archipelagos, and with this comes a wonderful choice of land and water-based activities. Wymara has a host of complimentary water sports, from paddle boarding to kayaking, from snorkeling to Hobie Cat sailing. Charter a boat to explore the archipelago; head out into the ocean for a spot of deep sea fishing, or between the months of January to March take a whale watching trip.
The Turks and Caicos have the third largest coral system on the planet, so the diving here is truly exceptional – whether you’re a beginner or an expert. On land, golfers can enjoy the 18 hole championship course at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club,; nature enthusiasts will love the flocks of flamingos and horse riders will definitely want to experience a canter along Grace Bay Beach. Alternatively, wander over to the Spa for a fitness class and yoga session, or a well-deserved pampering.
family
Bring the family here, and you’ll be booking it up again for next year… The entire resort has a wonderfully relaxed feel, with facilities for all ages. Snorkeling gear is complimentary, and you can venture right off the beach. Equipment for babies is available, and babysitting can be arranged on request.
sustainability
Wymara is deeply committed to responsible tourism and protecting the pristine environment in which it sits. From energy management to community engagement, every effort is made to protect and preserve the surroundings and precious ecosystems. There are no single use plastics; water sports are eco friendly; rainwater is harvested and wastewater is used for irrigation where possible; much of the electricity is solar powered and food and produce are all sustainably sourced.
