Before you sink too far into that sofa, and maybe that second glass of wine; please take the time to read the below to make your stay in L’Ours Rouge all the more comfortable.

WIFI– we have a WiFi network available for you to use The password for the wifi is oursrouge69120  We have a strong internet connection, but should there be any issues we ask you to kindly ask one of the team who will be able to assist.

Please ensure you have locked the front door, and the ski locker when you are not in the chalet.  

SKI LOCKERS & BOOT WARMERS – you ski locker and boot room is next to the front door. You will also find your boot warmers here – these are set on a timer to dry out the boots at the end of the day. The dryers then go on in the mornings to warm your boots up before you start you day on the mountain.  Please let your Assistant resort manager.  

CAR PARKING –there are three private parking spaces in the covered parking on the ground floor. You will have been provided with a beeper to open the garage door. 

HEATING – there is underfloor heating throughout the chalet, so if you are feeling a bit chilly, do turn up the thermostat in the room. The bathrooms have a heated towel rail that works in the same way.  Please ask your Assistant Resort Manager if you would like the heating adjusted but please ensure all windows are closed before turning up the heat.  

HOT TUB  – We want you to enjoy the benefits of having a hot tub, but there are a few things we need you to be mindful of when using it. We would ask that it is not used after 10pm and no glass to be used near the hot tub. Please always place the lid back on the hot tub when you have finished and always use the handle provided. You will find specific blue or grey hot tub towels in the chalet, please use these for the hot tub, and your grey Ours Rouge towels for your bathroom. If you would like your towel replaced please ask the team. 

TV– Your chalet is equipped with smart TVs in each bedroom. You can log in to your Netflix, Disney Plus or Amazon Prime accounts to enjoy your favourite shows and movies.   

BOARD GAMES – We have a selection of board games in each chalet. If you are missing a favourite the let the team know and we’ll do our best to find it for you.    

WASHING MACHINE AND TUMBLE DRYER – There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for your use in storing room near the kitchen along with detergent. 

HEALTY & SAFETY – Your Resort Manager will talk this through with you on arrival, but here is a little reminder on the key points.  Please keep chalet secure at all times with windows, terrace doors and front door locked when you head out for the day and at night.  Leave your ski boots in the ski locker and outdoor shoes in the entrance hall to avoid slips.  Please do not leave the fire unattended if using, it must be switched off before leaving the property each day. Smoking is forbidden in the chalet and only outside where ashtrays are provided. In the event of an emergency please call Ellie, the Assistant Resort Manager. If you have any questions or concerns at any time during your stay please ask the team!  

WHAT’S ON & RESORT INFORMATION – You will have various leaflets on activities, pampering, bus time tables, walkers’ maps and the weekly What’s On guide (definitely worth a read!) in the chalet.
