Before you sink too far into that sofa, and maybe that second glass of wine; please take the time to read the below to make your stay in Le Koissou all the more comfortable.

WIFI – We have a WiFi network available for you to use. Please see the chalk board for the code or ask a member of the team. We have a strong internet connection, but should there be an issues we ask you to kindly ask one of the team who will be able to assist.

KEYS & DOOR CODES – the chalet keys are stored in the key box outside, we change the code regularly for security purposes so please ask your chalet staff for the current code, please make sure the key remains in the box when not in use. Please ensure you have locked the front door, and the ski locker when you are not in the chalet. If you want to lock the front door at night, please make sure you remove the keys from the inside so that when your chalet staff arrive in the morning for breakfast they can unlock the door without having to disturb you.

SKI LOCKERS & BOOT WARMERS – these are both located just outside the front door of the chalet. The bootwarmers are set on a timer to dry out the boots at the end of the day, they then go back on again in the mornings to warm your boots up before you start you day on the mountain.

CAR PARKING – the chalet has its own private parking spaces – one on the opposite side of the road and another in the private carpark. There is further parking in the free carpark by the Golf chairlift.

HEATING – there is underfloor heating throughout the chalet, so if you are feeling a bit chilly, do turn up the thermostat in the room. The bathrooms have a heated towel rail that works in the same way. Please ask your chalet team if you would like the heating adjusted but please close any windows before turning up the heat.

HOTTUB – We want you to enjoy the benefits of having a hot tub, but there are few things we need you to be mindful of when using it. We would ask that it is not used after 10pm and no glass to be used near the hot tub. Please always place the lid back on the hot tub when you have finished and always use the handle provided. You will find specific blue or grey hot tub towels in the chalet, please use these for the hot tub, and your white towels for your bathroom.

TOWEL CHANGE – If you would like your towel replaced please ask your chalet host.

TV – Your chalet is equipped with UK TV freeview channels. Do ask the team if you need any technical tips!

RADIO MERIBEL – Our local radio station is R Meribel. Your chalet staff will put the radio on for you every morning so you can listen from 8-9.15am when the weather, lift and piste report and ‘What’s On’ guide are played. In the evening, between 6-6.30pm catch the après-ski guide, and more weather and international news.

BOARD GAMES – We have a selection of board games in each chalet. If you are missing a favourite, let your team know and we’ll do our best to find it for you.

WASHING MACHINE AND TUMBLE DRYER – If you would like to do any washing or drying throughout the week, then please do. There is washing powder by the machine, and a drying rack or tumble dryer for your use.

HEALTY & SAFETY – Your team will talk this through with you on arrival, but here is a little reminder on the key points. Please keep chalet secure at all times with windows, terrace doors and front door locked when you head out for the day and at night. Leave your ski boots and outdoor shoes in the entrance hall to avoid slips. Refrain from using the kitchen equipment without instruction, in particular the chefs’ sharp knives especially when there are small children in the chalet. Do not add logs to the fire without the team being present and always have the fire gate in place when the fire is lit. Smoking is forbidden in the chalet and only outside where ashtrays are provided. In the event of a fire, there is a fire extinguisher on each floor and fire exit plans on the back of each door in the property. In the event of an emergency please call Solène, the Resort Manager. If you have any questions or concerns at any time during your stay please ask the team!

WHAT’S ON & RESORT INFORMATION – You will have various leaflets on activities, pampering, bus time tables, walkers’ maps and the weekly What’s On guide (definitely worth a read!) in the chalet.

For any further information on the chalet or resort in general, please do not hesitate to ask your knowledgeable Resort Manager. We are here to help you get the very best from your stay with us here in magical Méribel.

AND…RELAX!
