Our ethos at F&P has always been to provide alpine comfort and luxury as well as delicious food and access to some of the best skiing in the world. We also believe that this shouldn’t come at the cost of our beautiful surroundings.
HERE’S A FLAVOUR OF OUR ECO-ACTIONS:
We’re switching our chalets to a clean energy provider and are working to reduce the amount of energy we use. We’ve switched almost all lights to LED and have bought smart meters to understand where we might be able to make savings (without impacting your comfort of course).
Our breakfast table in our catered chalets is plastic-free, right down to our tea bags! We’ve also eliminated single-use plastics elsewhere in our operations. Our cleaning supplies are refillable, our toilet paper is paper wrapped and our fresh coffee is delivered weekly in reusable packaging.
Mindful of the carbon footprint of our menus, we source local meat and serve seasonal vegetables. Oat milk is now available as standard in our chalets.
We’re going electric! We have a plan to transition all our vehicles to electric in the near future.
We have equipped your chalet with three bins for easy recycling: Brown/grey = general waste. Green = glass. Yellow = plastic, card and aluminium.
Most of our guests use their towel for the duration of their stay. For our catered and serviced guests only put your towel in the bath to request a change on a Wednesday morning if necessary.
Our tap water is some of the best in the world. Please think about refilling a reusable bottle rather than buying mineral water.
Feel free to cosy up in front of the log burner but use it mindfully, closing the door to allow the logs to burn long and slow.
