With 2024 just around the corner we thought we’d share with you our very own Travel Hot List 2024 – 12 destinations we’re most excited about travelling to next year. These include both F&P old favourites we just can’t get enough of and some rather exciting far-flung additions which will be joining our portfolio soon…

Indonesia
Holly and Philippa have just returned and are so excited that F&P is expanding into this achingly beautiful corner of the world. 17,000 islands peppered across the Pacific and Indian Oceans, each island with its own character and identity with so much to explore: tropical jungles, enchanting beaches, rich cultural heritages, some of the world’s best diving all topped off with the most welcoming and gentle people.
Sri Lanka
The comeback kid, Sri Lanka has had a tough few years and despite interest being on the rise there are still so many relatively unexplored areas. We encourage you to get off the beaten track and get under the skin of this vibrant and fascinating country, guided by those who know it best – the locals. France
Paris Summer Olympics is definitely putting France on the map for 2024. Paris alone is expecting up to three million additional visitors next year which will increase tourism spending by 4 billion euros. Not only do we have a stunning collection of Parisian hotels right in the heart of the action but for those hoping to escape the stampede we’d highly recommend the glittering Cote d’Azur for a touch of glamour or cycling around the Ile de Ré.
Morocco
After a tough few months, Morocco is absolutely ready to welcome visitors back again. The best way we can support the country’s recovery is to travel there, so we are putting it firmly on our hot list for 2024! This is perfect destination for those wanting to travel with purpose, and to those wanting to give back to communities that need it. Whether mountain adventure in the Atlas Mountains, desert camping in the Agafay Desert or exploring bedazzling colourful cities for off the scale culture, Morocco has it all.
Sailing the British Virgin Islands
Even the most seasoned sailors (come in Philippa) are bowled over by the charm of the BVI with its surreal blue waters, lush tropical greenery and ivory white sands. These islands are a veritable treasure trove of culture, wildlife, phenomenal food and off-grid adventure and there is no better perspective than by sea. Our monohull yachts or catamarans come complete with skipper, host and chef with watersports galore to keep everyone happy.

Zambia
With Vicky just back from honeymooning across Zambia, this wild and rugged part of Africa is fresh in our minds and etched in our hearts. Perhaps one of Africa’s best kept secrets we love it for its huge swathes of untouched wilderness, offering raw and authentic adventure. We love that visitor numbers are low so you have it all to yourself. And we especially love the remote (romantic) lodges reachable only by boat.
Greece
One of the hottest countries to visit in 2023 its popularity will only continue to rise in 2024 with gorgeous new hotels popping up all over the place (we have our eyes set on Gundari on the enchanting island of Folegandros). With guaranteed sun, hidden away coves and crystal clear waters, fascinating Byzantine and Roman ruins and some of the best food in the Med it really is no surprise we all want to go there. Thank goodness the season has elongated and Summer now seeps into Autumn.
Oman
This is a phenomenal country all about off the beaten track adventure – from self-drives and sailing holidays to discovering remote wadis, village to village trekking along ancient paths to wild swimming and learning about the night skies from private astronomers. Whether you choose serene mountain resorts, luxury mobile camping or oasis retreats, Oman is a complete stunner and will forever be on our bucket list – no matter what year it is!
Portugal
For its 3,000 hours of sunshine each year, 850km of golden beaches, laid back coastal living, its massive farm to fork focus with the freshest home grown deliciousness washed down with world-class Portuguese wines, and its breathtakingly stunning national parks teeming with wildlife, Portugal has long been one of our absolute favourite destinations with some of our most favourite hotels and we will be returning again and again…
Scandinavia
If you’re anything like us the combination of thrilling outdoor adventure and fresh air is always a winning combination. And Scandinavia stands out for the purest air, its vast expanses of untouched wilderness and pristine landscapes. This region’s commitment to environmental sustainability and conservation is staggeringly impressive and ensures skiers not only enjoy the thrill of the slopes but also benefit from crisp, clean air our lungs so desperately yearn.
Costa Rica
Coming soon… we are incredibly excited to be adding this glittering jewel to our portfolio. Not only are there tropical Caribbean-esque beaches but zip lining through lush rainforest canopies, white water rafting and exploring volcanic peaks and hot springs. A hot spot for biodiversity animal lovers will be bowled over by the wildlife – sloths have to be some of our favourite animals. Plus the Costa Rican“Pura Vida” is a philosophy we would most definitely like to adopt for 2024 both home and abroad.
Mexico
Coming soon… we have so many exciting corners of Mexico to introduce to you. A country so vibrant and diverse we have fallen in love – from the iconic pyramids of Teotihuacan and ancient Mayan ruins of Chitchen Itza to the pristine palm fringed beaches of Cancun, there is no doubt that this is a country of contrasts. And whether you stay in a charming rural hacienda or luxury all bells and whistles coastal resort we will have all corners covered.
