The best countries to visit in February

It’s the shortest month of the year, but it certainly feels longer. February is definitely a good month to head to warmer climes for a top of up vitamin D, or to nip to the Alps for some ski-school free pistes (barring half-term of course). Whatever temperature you’re after – there’s a perfect destination.

Sweden

For Northern Light spotters, February can be a good time to head to the Arctic Circle. The snow cover means ideal ski conditions and the landscape is bewitching. And ice baths are particularly invigorating!  The Sámi people hold many festivals at this time of the year – celebrating the Aurora Borealis.
